Miss Marshell Davison brings a love for children, hands-on learning, and Christ-centered education to The Yutzy School. She is passionate about helping every child discover the joy of learning through nature, play, and meaningful experiences.
Miss Marshell brings a genuine love for children, a heart for Christian education, and a passion for hands-on learning to The Yutzy School. Originally from Pennsylvania, she taught for two years at Bethel Dunkard Brethren Christian School, serving first as a kindergarten teacher and later as a teacher's aide while teaching science, history, and reading for third and fourth grade students. She has also served in Sunday School and Vacation Bible School, where she discovered even more joy in helping children grow in both faith and learning.
One of the things that most inspires Miss Marshell is helping each child learn in the way God designed them. Having overcome dyslexia herself, she has a special appreciation for students who learn differently and loves encouraging them as they discover their own abilities and confidence. She believes children learn best through meaningful experiences, living books, nature, play, and asking thoughtful questions that lead to discovery.
Miss Marshell and her husband, Grant, were recently married and are excited to begin this new chapter together.
In her free time, she enjoys reading, researching new topics, and spending time outdoors. Her favorite Bible verse is Psalm 139:14, a reminder that every child is "fearfully and wonderfully made" and has been created by God with purpose and value. She is excited to partner with families at The Yutzy School to help students grow in wisdom, wonder, and a love for learning.
