PERFORMING & FINE ARTS
At The Yutzy School, we believe that creativity is a reflection of our Creator. The arts give students meaningful ways to express beauty, joy, and faith while developing discipline, confidence, and imagination. Through both visual and performing arts, our students learn to appreciate excellence, cultivate their God-given talents, and use their gifts to uplift others.
Music
Class
Our Lower School Students meet twice each week to explore the joy of music through singing, rhythm, and movement. Under the guidance of Mrs. Gessica Tastove, students build foundational skills in melody, pitch, and harmony while learning to express themselves creatively. Through fun, hands-on activities and songs, student discover how music can inspire, unite, and glorify God.
Choir
Meeting twice each week, our Middle and Upper School Choir gives students the opportunity to develop their voices, grow in confidence, and experience the joy of performing together. Led by Mrs. Gessica Tastove, students explore a variety of musical styles while learning proper vocal technique, harmony, and expression. With a focus on excellence and heart, the choir seeks to honor God through music that uplifts and inspires both singers and audiences alike.
Music Lessons
In addition to classroom music, The Yutzy School offers students the opportunity to develop individual musical talent through Private Music Lessons. Students can currently enroll in guitar lessons, with piano lessons coming soon - and additional instruments to be added as our program grows. These one-on-one sessions allow students to learn at their own pace while building confidence, discipline, and a lifelong love of music. Lessons are taught by qualified instructors and offered for an additional fee.
Visual Arts
In our Visual Arts program, students discover the joy of creating. Through drawing, painting, and hands-on crafts, they learn to observe God’s world closely and express what they see through color, line, and form. Each project encourages creativity, patience, and excellence—helping students recognize that true artistry reflects the beauty and order of God’s creation.
As our program expands, students will have opportunities to display their work in school exhibitions and community showcases, celebrating their growth as young artists.

The Yutzy School is growing—and so are our opportunities for creativity! In the near future, we’ll be expanding our Fine Arts offerings to include new programs that allow students to shine both on stage and off. Some of these will include:

🎠Theatre Arts – Students will have the chance to take part in stage productions, including both plays and musicals, learning every aspect of performance—from acting and stage presence to set design and teamwork.

🎵 Instrumental Ensembles – As more students pursue private lessons, we plan to form small instrumental groups and ensembles to perform at school events and programs.
🎨 Expanded Visual Arts Offerings – Future classes will include sculpture, design, and other creative disciplines that help students explore their talents in new ways.
