Valentine's Day Activities

We’re looking forward to a fun and meaningful Valentine’s Day celebration at The Yutzy School, with a special focus on the love of Jesus Christ and showing kindness to others.

• Monday, February 9: Students will make their own Valentine’s Day boxes at school.

• Thursday, February 12: Students will exchange Valentine’s Day cards with classmates.

To keep the emphasis on Christian love, kindness, and friendship, Valentine’s cards should be non-romantic. Families may include a small optional treat (such as a sucker, Jolly Rancher, Tootsie Roll, etc.), but treats are not required.

Each student should bring one Valentine for each student in the school. Students may--but do not have to--add the name of the receiver to the card, but and all cards should identify the giver. Valentines may be store-bought or homemade.

We look forward to celebrating in a way that reflects Christ’s love and builds up our school community.
